April Voting is Now OpenVote Now

Getting ready to do some mudding? Heading out on a rock crawling trip? A heavy-duty set of tires and wheels will make sure you get through each leg of your trek with minimal problems. If you find a tread that really digs into the off-road terrain and a set of wheels that will stand up to brutal beatings, you know you’ve found a winning combination. For the April vote, choose which 1 of 3 Jeep tire & wheel packages will keep you rolling through any terrain: Pro Comp, BFG/KMC, or Dick Cepek.

Jeep tires and Jeep wheels are different from lift kits, winches, and other similar Jeep parts because they’re a necessity. Sure, those other Jeep accessories are a logical and very useful addition but, at the end of the day, you could do without them if you had to. But without tires and wheels, that Jeep isn’t going anywhere. In fact, if you stick with the stock tires and wheels, your case could be just as hopeless. Installing larger off-road tires and wheels will give you the clearance, grip, bite, and durability you need.

Choose which of these 3 Jeep tire & wheel packages should go on the JK:

Pro Comp Xtreme Mud Terrain Radial Tires & Xtreme Alloy Series 7028 Wheels

Pro Comp Xtreme Mud Terrain Radial tires were designed to provide as much traction as possible all the way down the side of the tire. They’ve succeeded for 2 main reasons: the 3-ply construction and extended sidewall. These features will enhance your traction on softer ground and give you extra bite when rock crawling. Combine them with the unsurpassed strength and head-turning style of Pro Comp Xtreme Alloy wheels with simulated bead lock and you’ll be good to go.

I seem to be the minority here but I voted for DC. I’ve never owned DC’s but in general I’m not a huge fan of BFG and Haven’t heard great things about ProComp tires. I also like the siping on the DC’s, where I’m from good traction in snow and ice is very important and these DC’s look like they would be superior.
